The Moment That Changed Everything

My relationship with music has shaped me since I was young, even as a Deaf individual. I always wondered what live concerts truly felt like and how my experience might differ from what hearing audiences describe. That question stayed with me for years and quietly pushed me toward spaces where music, culture, and Deaf identity could meet.

Everything shifted in Rome, Italy, at a Coldplay concert that changed my understanding of what music could be. Surrounded by more than fifteen Deaf and hard of hearing friends, I felt a level of connection I had never experienced before. Coldplay used vibration technology and intentional design to make the show immersive, and for the first time, the music reached me in a way that felt powerful, emotional, and real. That night revealed what live entertainment could become when every sense is invited into the moment. It did not fade. It demanded purpose. It demanded change.
